Allow us to introduce ourselves - Meet OFI's trainers.
Osteopaths For Industry (OFI) training courses follow the guidelines on patient handling produced by the Royal College of Nursing. Core theory and static handling training elements to our courses are written using evidence-based material. This is undertaken using research from HSE guidelines on manual handling, studies on correct lifting techniques from university research centres, ergonomic publications, biomechanical back pain studies from leading journals and publications by experts in the field of physical therapy.
It was a very interesting course, fully enjoyed my time, wish it could of been longer.

Our physical therapy training team can provide ‘real life’ examples of injuries that they treat weekly, which reinforces the message of the importance of applying good technique. They use jargon free, every day language teaching the ‘why’ behind the ‘how’ of good technique that people can relate to. The training ensures that delegates acquire safe static and client handling practical skills relating specifically to the work environment and reinforces the importance of good technique being applied to all aspects of everyday life.
Rob's presentation was clear and easy to understand. It was great having an Osteopath as a trainer as he shared with us his knowledge and experience which made the subject really interesting.
