Read some of our 'Top Tips' for ensuring your are working safely.

Osteopaths For Industry (OFI) has been helping companies in diverse industries meet the challenge of offering effective Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments for over 15 years.

Absenteeism and litigation claims aren’t just caused by manual handling issues. Half a million workers are affected every year by repetitive strain injury costing British Industry £3 billion.

About our DSE Courses

Our DSE Assessment courses are delivered by fully qualified practicing osteopaths and physiotherapists with extensive knowledge of the relevant HSE legislation. OFI consultants use every day, easy to understand language to give delegates an appreciation of the anatomy and physiology of the back and upper limbs and how and why injuries occur.

Our consultants will ensure that delegates are able to carry out DSE assessments confidently and competently. All of our DSE courses include practical application and small group mentoring with the consultant.

The trainer clarified and simplified the risk surrounding DSE and how injuries can occur. Great course, very enjoyable - I now feel ready to carry out my own assessments.

‘One-on-one’ Specialist Assessments

Many of your employees may complain about pain or numbness after sitting for prolonged periods at their workstations. Even more worrying is that some employees often suffer in silence and fail to report the early onset of symptoms. Work performance can decrease as their discomfort increases. Our consultants are able to come to site to carry out one-to-one consultations to identify root cause/s and provide recommendations to resolve ongoing problems.

We can also provide professional advice and recommendations for workstation adaptations for staff with disabilities.
